 DESCRIPTION

Product Description

Super Gainers Fuel contains no added sugar and is rich in complex carbohydrates. No simple sugars such as sucrose or frutose are added. The complex carbohydrates in this formula stimulate the anabolic and anti-catabolic hormone insulin. Insulin enhances muscle growth by increasing the rate amino acids enter muscle cells. Carbohydrates also increase the rate of muscle glycogen synthesis, which is important for recovery. Super Gainers Fuel is also rich in high biological quality milk and egg proteins.

Combining carbohydrates with protein is gaining in popularity among both bodybuilders and athletes. This trend is a result of the growing body of data on the anti-catabolic synergism of carbohydrate-protein mixtures. Also, carbohydrate-protein mixtures are more effective for post-exercise glycogen replenishment than carbohydrates alone. Super Gainers Fuel is enriched with branched chain amino acids with added L-glutamine and alpha-ketoglutarate. These anti-catabolic amino acids and nutrients can help minimize muscle protein breakdown after high-intensity training. Reductions in glutamine concentration in the blood following overtraining in a variety of sports may explain the immune deficiency reported in these over-trained conditions. It also contains creatine monohydrate for maxium recovery. Creatine monohydrate plays an important role in the transfer of energy. It is converted to phosphocreatine, which is important for short energy bursts such as sprinting and weightlifting. Depletion of the phosphocreatine pool can result in muscular fatigue and fading muscle power. Each serving provides 100 grams of protein, 505 grams of carbohydrates, 29 grams of fat, and 2,681 calories.
