Ways that Supplements Enhance Fat Loss:
Control blood sugar. Blood sugar is the body's internal fuel, giving all tissues, including muscles and the brain, the energy they need to thrive. Preliminary studies with glucose-control agents have shown these supplements help reduce insulin resistance and stimulate insulin activity. Insulin resistance is a major factor in obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Specific supplements such as chromium may aid our bodies in the effective use and storage of carbohydrates and significantly increase our use of blood sugar, which may help decrease bodyfat.
Limit the absorption and storage of fat. Fat is a drag, literally. When we have an overabundance, or even a little too much, it can slow us down and weigh down our health. Fortunately, certain supplements, such as fiber and HCA, work to prevent absorption and storage of fat.
Stimulate the metabolism. Excess bodyfat is the enemy of athletes and anyone interested in optimal health. Many elite athletes even hone their bodyfat percentages down to single digits. Several supplements may help accelerate fat loss when used with an exercise program, including 7-KETO, green tea, cayenne, and to a lesser extent, pyruvate. Often, these supplements can become even more effective when used in combinations, such as the potent blend of caffeine, ephedra, and aspirin or their herbals equivalents guarana, ma huang (ephedra), and willow bark.
Control appetite. One of the seemingly most difficult obstacles in the effort to lose fat is managing appetite. Fortunately, one of the most potent aspects of many "fat-fighting" supplements may just be that of appetite suppression. This could help explain why thermogenic combinations are so popular: they help us stick to our diets while imparting a noticeable "energy boost."
